CFO

JOB TITLE: CFO

SALARY: This is a full-time position/pay is dependent on experience.

DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for managing all financial and accounting operations, for the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Must be able to prepare, analyze, and distribute accurate monthly income statements, develop and maintain annual operating budget, review all month-end and year-end closing activities. The CFO will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, ensure accuracy of general ledger, oversee all journal entries, accruals, recurring transactions. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions. Reports to the Board of Commissioners and leading audit efforts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. (MBA/CPA preferred)

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have experience in accounting and finance
Must be able to perform this job successfully
Must be knowledgeable in government auditing standards

JOB TITLE: GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

SALARY: This is a full-time position/pay is dependent on experience.

DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for overseeing complex accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization’s overall financial integrity and compliance. Manages critical components of the monthly and year-end process, including balance sheet reconciliations, grant accounting, payroll accounting, journal entries, expense reclassifications, amortization, depreciation and financial reporting activities, along with other functions as required. Supports the efforts of the CFO

Position Overview
As a Waitlist Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting applicants through the housing process and ensuring compliance with housing program regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a commitment to serving the public with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process public housing applications accurately and efficiently
  • Manage assigned property waitlists in accordance with program requirements
  • Interview prospective applicants and determine public housing eligibility
  • Review, verify, and process applicant documentation promptly
  • Guide applicants through the public housing program, policies, and funding requirements
  • Maintain and update public housing applicant records and data systems
  • Schedule and conduct applicant appointments
  • Collect rent payments and tenant-related charges
  • Maintain accurate resident account records
  • Process repayment agreements, income updates, and applicable charges
  • Create and process work orders
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support as well as perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift to 35 pounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills required

Compensation

Full-Time Position
Salary is competitive and based on experience.

JOB TITLE: HOUSING/TENANT MANAGER

SALARY: This is a Full Time Position pay is dependent on experience. Position Open until filled.

DESCRIPTION: Primary responsibility of Housing Manager is Complying, identifying, and enforcing regulations set out in Local, State, and Federal mandates, and regulations which pertain to Housing & Urban Development. Not limited to lease enforcement violation, inspections tenant record maintenance, etc.

REQUIREMENTS/PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Background Check
  • 40 Hour work week
  • Must have a valid NM Driver License
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Computer knowledge in Microsoft programs, (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Bilingual a plus
